Austin M asked: -My dog Sable has just recently passed away of colon cancer. We noticed that he started to swell and bleed from his ****. The cancer was so aggresive and rapid that it had stopped him from using any type of restroom in 4 days. It went from the size of a dime to the size of the tubes in his colon. We love sable very much and I was just wondering, what could’ve been some symptoms and how could we of caught it?

cass2630 asked: My Mother has has colon cancer for about 3 years now & the chemotherapy was never helping her. About a month ago I found out that the cancer has spread in the lungs and breasts, she also has Internal bleeding. I hear that there are natural cures that the doctors do not speak of, but I really need help because she is dying. My question is, do anyone know of any natural medicines for cancer that could help my Mother?

Barney Garcia asked: One of the most effective methods for colon cleansing is through the intake of dietary fibers. Natural fibers in food are of two categories, insoluble and soluble. The fibers add bulk to the waste matter in the intestine and help the intestine maintain regular bowel movement. Psyllium is the safest and widely accepted fiber for colon cleansing.
Insoluble Fibers
Wheat bran and other fibers made up of cellulose are insoluble in water. Water insoluble fibers cannot help in lowering the levels of cholesterol in the body, unlike water soluble fibers.
Water Soluble Fibers
Psyllium has water-soluble fibers, as does oat bran and pectin. Psyllium can absorb water like a sponge, which helps it to add bulk to the matter inside the colon.
Psyllium: The Magic Remedy for Colon Disorders
1) Psyllium, apart from flushing out fecal matter, also flushes out cholesterol, thus lowering the harmful levels of cholesterol in the body.
2) Another advantage of using psyllium for colon cleanse is that it helps prevent diseases like colon cancer.
3) Psyllium helps ease chronic symptoms like diarrhea, colitis and constipation.
4) If you are on a fast while undergoing a colon cleanse program, psyllium can help reduce the hunger pangs, as it makes the digestive system feel full.
5) Inside the colon, psyllium bulks up and cleans out the colon by absorbing harmful chemicals inside it.
6) Psyllium regulates bowel movements and eases cases of alternate diarrhea and constipation. It is milder than chemical laxatives that cause diarrhea if taken in stronger doses.
7) Psyllium promotes the growth of friendly bacteria like Lactobacillus acidophilus in the body. These bacteria are generally present in the human digestive tract since childhood, but may be destroyed through antibiotics and bad dietary habits.

Psyllium is beneficial for diabetics, since it regulates the level of blood glucose by slowing down the absorption of food in the intestine. It increases the secretion of enzymes by the pancreas.
Drinking the husk of psyllium dissolved in water or warm milk (optionally, you can add honey or maple syrup to taste) is one of the best methods of colon cleanse. Psyllium is a natural colon-cleansing agent and has no side effects. It is no wonder that people across the world have taken to psyllium as a remedy for bowel disorders and a method for achieving a healthy and clean digestive system.

Wong Darren asked: In a perfect world, colon cleansing not only cleans the colon but the entire body as well. In truth, this might actually be true as the colon is a major component of the human body.
The colon is part of the human body’s digestive system. The purpose of the colon is to store waste and maintain water balance in the body. While the small intestine handles the digestion of food, the colon (which comprises a significant portion of the large intestine) handles the next steps after digestion.
An unhealthy colon can hamper the overall affectivity of other organs in the human body. This is true for most other organs in the body and the colon is no exception. The human body relies on the interconnected functionality that different parts of the body offer.
If the colon is not working as well as it should, it indirectly affects the effectiveness of organs such as the kidney and the liver. Colon cleansing can help insure that the colon is working at optimum condition majority of the time.
More often that not, people look to colon cleansing if they are suffering from ailments such as constipation or acne. For others, colon cleansing is an alternative option used in order to reduce the risk of colon cancer. While it is true that colon cleansing is capable of achieving the goals with regards to the aforementioned ailments, colon cleansing is generally thought of as a means to improve the overall health of a person.
First things first, colon cleansing should be strongly considered if the colon is diagnosed to be in an unhealthy state. To determine the relative health of the colon, the bowel movements must be carefully monitored. The bowel movements must be regularly done, with no other problems being observed. For instance, the slightest trace of constipation should be a cause for concern if observed regularly.
Difficulty in bowel movements may be a sign of intestinal problems in the body. If there is a substantial amount of straining involved during the bowel movement process, then it is possible that there is a problem in the colon which causes the bowel movements to be hampered severely.
Patients suffering from bowel related problems, such as constipation, are advised to consider colon cleansing. This is important as it rids the body of food remnants. The problems experienced during bowel movement may leave some food residue in the body. This can be potentially dangerous as it remains longer in the body that it is normally supposed to.
If you do not experience the above mentioned occurrences; colon cleansing is still an option. This is because the human body is constantly exposed to toxins that can cause further harm to the colon. Environmental conditions that we face increase the toxins that make its way to the colon.
This causes the colon to work harder, and in some cases, uses up valuable minerals and electrolytes in the body. Colon cleansing techniques are used to remove these toxins from the body and restore the efficient operation of the body’s colon. The body will definitely work better because of the cleansing procedure.

Barney Garcia asked: Colon health and colon cleansing are topics that have only recently been much discussed. This can be directly attributed to the fact that the problems originating directly from the colon have been increasing every year and the colon cancer is something which is terrifying the whole nation these days. With most number of cases reported cases in the entire world and an increasing number of deaths due to colon cancer, colon health is one topic which the Americans can no longer neglect.
To ensure that your colon is in its prime condition you should always get your colon cleansed at regular intervals. There are various methods which you can use to get your colon cleansed. While some are expensive, some are quite affordable and while some can be administered at home, for some you need to pay visits to the therapist. The best method depends n your needs. What we will provide here is an outline of the various methods available.
Juice Fasting
It is better to practice juice fasting than simple fasting to get your colon in proper shape. Vegetables and fruits contain a lot of fiber in them and this helps in bowel movements. Since you are not consuming anything else there is nothing additional that gets deposited. However consuming entire fruits and vegetables would not be a nice idea as the fibers in that form can be harder to digest. When you take them in the form of a juice you are much likely to yield better results. Also the fact that since most fruits and vegetables have high nutritional value, your body will not be deprived of energy to work which would have been the case if it was a complete fast.
Colon Hydrotherapy
One of the most effective ways of getting your colon cleansed is to go for colon hydrotherapy. This process involves the insertion of a tube through your **** into the colon. Plenty of pure water is poured into the colon through the tube to flush out the contents of the colon. This is a natural method and doesn’t involve any use of drugs. A colon hydrotherapy program would require you to attend 10 to 12 sessions over a period of two months, each session spanning for something around 45 to 60 minutes.
Herbal Laxatives
The colon cleanse herbs and the herbal laxatives claim to be harmless and position themselves as alternatives to commercial laxatives. They further their claim saying that since they are natural, they are safe. The herbs are generally very strong and they start showing results in 6 to 12 hours time after consumption. They should be had only in moderate amounts as a prolonged use can have serious side effects.

Groshan Fabiola asked: The colon and rectum is a part of the large intestine and their functions are to absorb water and nutrients from food this way concentrating the stool, and to form and store the stool until its evacuation.
Cancer is an affection which interferes in the process of cell division and makes the cells divide chaotically, leading to a mass of abnormal cells that forms a tumor. Colorectal cancer is the disease that affects the cells from the colon and rectum creating a malign or benign tumor.
Colorectal cancer can evolve until it spreads to other organs like lungs, bones and liver, building tumors over there too. Tumors take food and oxygen from the other healthy cells and in the end they take their space.
Scientists have declared that in US 1 of 17 people are at risk of developing colorectal cancer, and the most affected ones are men.
In the whole world, colon cancer is the third leading cause of cancer in males and the fourth in women. It is quite rare in Asia and Africa but you can find it frequently in the Western world. Those who have adopted western diets are at risk to develop colorectal cancer.
Most of the colon cancers are adenocarcinomas, meaning that they come from polyps situated inside the intestines.
These polyps are benign at first but left untreated for several years they will end up transforming into malign polyps and cause cancer.
This adenomatous polyposis syndrome is found in the same family members, so it has a genetic base. There is a type of nonpolyposis colorectal cancer syndrome which also occurs in the same family members but now people who are at risk can be identified through genetic screening.
By finding these cancer sensible people doctors can council them and program them for regular screening in order to prevent cancer from occurring.
People who suffer of Crohn disease or who have had ****** or uterine cancer and a family history of colon cancer are at risk of developing colorectal cancer too.
Scientists have not found out exactly why this disease occurs but they believe that if you are obese and you follow a diet that is rich in proteins and fats and low in fiber you might develop cancer
Drinking alcohol is also a factor that leads to cancer.
Until now scientists believe that estrogen replacement therapy and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can reduce the risk of developing colorectal cancer.
